HEIDI MULLER & BOB WEBB

“A buoyant mix of dulcimer, guitar, well-made songs and rippling harmonies.”
WUMB-FM, Boston

“These multi-instrumentalists have the firepower to go places a lot of duos can only dream of going. They play together so well and intimately that they are not so much accompanying one another, but are engaged in an ongoing musical conversation. They are well worth a long listen.”
– Douglas John Imbrogno, Editor
  WestVirginiaVille.com Magazine

“Their music wraps the listener in visions of living an aware life – one of compassion, joy and love.” – Ann C., audience member

Original Northwest songs, Appalachian tunes, crystalline vocals, and an armload of instruments!

Short Bio:

Heidi Muller and Bob Webb cross the musical boundaries between original songs and traditional tunes, blending each other’s influences from the Pacific Northwest to the Appalachian Mountains. Their songs feature Heidi’s crystalline vocals backed by Appalachian dulcimers, guitars, mandolin, and electric cello. They have recorded four albums together, in addition to Heidi’s five previous solo CDs. Both veteran performers – Heidi, a poetic, descriptive songwriter since the ‘80s, and Bob, an accompanist who played for years in the house band for NPR’s Mountain Stage live radio show – are warm and engaging as they share their stories and love of the music.

Concert Review – Tumbleweed Music Festival, September 1-2, 2018

“Heidi Muller and Bob Webb have been teamed up for a long time, but it seems recently the music is effortless between them. They understand each other’s musical needs as they support and increase the quality and availability of the music to audiences. Their set at the Saturday night concert was exceptional. Heidi’s voice continues to mature with a warm flow, and the various instruments on stage from cello, mandolin, dulcimer, guitar all worked. They performed a body of original and traditional songs that worked beautifully for them and the audience. They are seasoned veterans who love the music and each other. Northwest treasures!”
