Heidi is back in Charleston briefly as a solo act (Bob is staying back in Oregon) and excited to play again at Taylor Books, especially because she’s teaming up with songwriter friend Colleen Anderson and guitarist George Castelle. They’ll all be doing some songs solo and some collaborations with harmony. It should be a wonderful night! Come early for good seats. Saturday, September 10 7:30 – 9:30. Friday, Sept. 9 to Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 – Spend a week learning to play the Appalachian dulcimer with Heidi Muller at the Cedar Lakes Crafts Center in Ripley, WV. This will be Heidi’s 11th year teaching this Road Scholar program. The class is geared to complete beginners, and has gotten rave reviews from those who have never touched a dulcimer to those who have tried to start on their own or had a few lessons. By the end of the week you will have learned a variety of playing techniques, good practice habits, and have a repertoire of new tunes to take home with you. To sign up, go to www.roadscholar.org.
Our 6th Annual Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas will be held at Wallowa Lake near Joseph, OR. Instructors include Steve Eulberg (intermediate and advanced), Carol Walker (advanced beginners and intermediate), Heidi Muller (advanced beginners) and Bob Webb (beginners).

The Gebhard Woods Dulcimer & Traditional Music Festival will be held in Goold Park in Morris, IL (just south of Chicago) on Saturday & Sunday, June 11-12. Bob and Heidi will be giving a “Learn to Play the Mountain Dulcimer” hands-on workshop for all ages, using instruments that they provide, at the Sherman County Library in Moro, OR on Thursday, April 21 at 4:00. The workshop is free and will last about an hour and 15 minutes.
They will also perform that evening in concert at the library starting at 7:00. The concert will go till about 8:15 pm. Free to the public, all ages welcome!
Heidi and a number of other singers, songwriters, poets and writers will be performing at the annual Women’s Concert at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture, Main St., Joseph, OR on Saturday, March 26 at 7:00. This is a very popular concert so get there early! Admission by donation.
Join singer/songwriter, guitarist, fiddler, mandolin and bass player Caleb Samples (yep, he does all of that!) at his CD Release Concert on Thursday, March 26 at 7:00 pm at the OK Theatre, West. Main St., Enterprise, OR. Heidi and Bob will be performing along with Janis Carper, Henry Kinsley and others. Caleb recorded his Untouched Ground CD with Bob as engineer… this project has taken over two years and is a really wonderful collection of honest, folk-Americana songs and catchy instrumentals. The CD will be available at CDBaby and local outlets.
Come out and support this benefit to raise medical funds for local musician, mom and all-around good person, Kelly McDonald. She fell off a ladder last September, was badly injured and has slowly been recovering. Join Bob, Heidi and others in this show at the OK Theatre on W.
