The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance will join with the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture to present the wonderful annual holiday concert at the Josephy Center, on Sunday afternoon, December 22 at 3:00. Over a dozen local performers including some children will play and sing Christmas and Solstice music of all kinds. Last year the Center was packed, so be sure and come early to get a seat. This is a winter fundraiser for both organizations – all donations given will be split between the Music Alliance and the Josephy Center.
Heidi and Bob will lead carols and perform special Solstice music in a Winter Solstice Celebration at the Center for Spiritual Living, 2707 27th St (up in the “Clarkston Heights”), on Saturday, December 21. There will be a potluck at 6:00 to start things, then the program starts at 7:00. Readings and spiritual insights will be shared around the Solstice theme by Rev. David Robinson, interweaving with the music. For more information, please call the church at (509) 758-3031.
Heidi & Bob will be joining a lineup of Wallowa County musicians for Gail Swart’s annual Christmas program at Wallowa Lake Lodge on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8. Located at the south end of Wallowa Lake, the lodge is a beautiful old hotel full of wood and stone decor built in 1923. After some caroling in the lobby, the show happens in the diningroom after dinner.
Make reservations soon, because it sells out every year: (541) 432-9821.
